The focus of this role is to enable the pull-through of standard Product and Services through consulting services, own demand generation for new-to-market Industries Solutions portfolio, and execution of local AMEA strategy projects.
In Consultation with Country Management, the Head of Sales, the Country head of Consulting will be responsible for the following:
Work with the VP of Consulting, Head of Strategy – AMEA, Head of Consulting – AMEA to execute on regional strategy projects – including customer segmentation, intellectual property and value positioning content, demand generation, customer qualification, and launch plans for new strategy projects being launched in the AMEA market region;
Be accountable for all consulting project delivery within your market unit, own delivery for commercial modelling, business-IT strategy alignment, industry experience / PoV, and final deliverable QA
Be the single point of contact across AMEA and/or within the market unit to cultivate and grow pipeline for the Industries portfolio by positioning and closing customer opportunities;
As an industry expert plus demonstrated experience in one or more fields: Application architecture / infrastructure dependency mapping, NFV / SDN / SDDC, Information Security, Unified Communications, IoT and IT/OT, or other relevant technology domain areas.
Support the country management teams to develop go-to-market teams and engage directly with existing and potential new clients and partners at the Executive Level to support the establishment of consulting engagements;
Leverage and iteratively improve the consulting method, delivery best practices, and own quality of execution to ensure customer satisfaction and successful outcomes on all consulting engagements;
Lead delivery of Consulting projects with small project teams to ensure that consulting projects are delivered profitably;
Work with the AMEA sales leadership to develop, cultivate, and grow the ICV pipeline by acquiring new customers through value Consulting; and Manage and develop the regional consulting team, and leverage both extended teams within and with their partners to meet consulting demand.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or relevant technical field required
MSCS, MSEE, or MBA
Demonstrable practical knowledge in the field of consulting methods, frameworks, and approaches
Minimum 15 years related work experience in customer facing organisations within the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT), Finance, Retail, Mining, Oil & Gas, Airlines, or IT Run Operations
Proven track record in selling high dollar value consulting services in a leadership role (5 or more years’ experience or equivalent)
Experience in workflow process design and management in Jira, SharePoint or other BPM tools
Minimum 3 years’ experience in team, project delivery, and business P&L management
Strong background in business consulting, process analysis design and improvement, and development of technology based business solutions
